As we strive to better serve water professionals with the products they need to quickly help their customers and boost their productivity, we have initiated efforts to streamline the Cerus® X-Drive submersible and surface pump panels portfolio. By simplifying selection across this product line, we anticipate enhanced inventory management and increased product availability. You’ll notice three key changes:
1) Ordering Information for Panel Configurations
Cerus® X-Drive pump panel configurations have updated part numbers to reflect their new horsepower rating. This will allow for easier product pairing and alignment with other Franklin Electric products. Prior amp-rated panels only supported AC induction motors, but the new horsepower-rated panels support both AC induction motors and MagForce High Efficiency Motors.
Updated Franklin Electric support materials will include a diagram referencing all relevant Cerus X-Drive part numbers and the part number anatomy.
2) Updated Support Materials
We’ve already begun to update support materials to reflect these product updates. This includes all relevant literature and the Franklin Electric website. Our Drives, Controls & Protection catalog includes cross references with the new panel numbers. For example: Amp rated XS4B050-3A is converting to HP rated XS4BH050-3A. 3) A Safety Stocking Plan for Submersible Configurations
We’re investing in building warehouse inventory at our Oklahoma City distribution center to support our most popular and requested submersible pump panel configurations:
- 208/230V, Single and Three Phase Inputs from 7.5-20 HP, and
- 460V, Three-Phase Input, from 3-100 HP
