The Water Well Journal Industry Survey Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time on [November 1, 2026] and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on [December 11, 2026] (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for the Sweepstakes.
The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.
Residents of Canada and all other countries are not eligible to participate.
Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, Water Well Journal, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising agencies, promotion agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) and household members of each such person are not eligible to participate or win.
All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Methods of Entry
There are two (2) methods of entry for this Sweepstakes.
Survey Entry
During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible entrants may enter by completing and submitting the Water Well Journal Industry Survey located at [GROUNDED IN THE EXPERIENCE OF WATER PROFESSIONALS – Fill out form].
Upon successful submission of the survey, the entrant will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
Free Alternative Method of Entry
Eligible entrants may alternatively enter without completing the survey by sending an email during the Sweepstakes Period to [marketing@fele.com] with the subject line:
“Water Well Journal Industry Survey Sweepstakes Entry”
The body of the email must contain:
Eligible submissions will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
Entry Limitations
Limit one (1) entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period, regardless of method of entry.
All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Multiple entrants may not share the same email address. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than one entry through multiple email addresses, identities, registrations, or other means may result in disqualification in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Sponsor shall have sole discretion to determine the eligibility of any entry.
Information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes will be used by Sponsor for administration of the Sweepstakes and otherwise in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Notice available at https://www.franklin-electric.com/privacy/.
Survey responses may be analyzed, aggregated, and used by Sponsor for market research, business planning, product development, marketing analysis, and other lawful business purposes.
Participation in the Sweepstakes is not conditioned upon consent to receive marketing communications and will not affect an entrant’s chances of winning.
Prize Drawing
Sponsor will conduct one (1) random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
The drawing will occur on or about [December 12, 2026].
Three (3) potential winners will be selected.
Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Notification
Potential winners will be notified by email using the contact information provided with the winning entry.
Potential winners must respond within five (5) days after notification.
If a potential winner:
Sponsor may select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries.
Prize Details
Three (3) prizes will be awarded.
Each prize consists of one (1) $250 Visa® e-Gift Card.
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize: $250.
Total ARV of all prizes: $750.
Visa is not a sponsor of, affiliated with, or otherwise associated with this Sweepstakes.
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the acceptance or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Prize Conditions
No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of a prize is permitted except by Sponsor, which reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Prize award is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
Potential winners may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability release, and any other documents reasonably requested by Sponsor within seven (7) days following notification.
Neither Sponsor nor its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, promotion agencies, or representatives shall be responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, technical malfunctions, failures of electronic equipment, interrupted internet service, lost or delayed transmissions, unauthorized human intervention, or any other errors that may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes.
If Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control have compromised or may compromise the integrity, administration, security, or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes and award prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to such action.
Notice of any such action shall be posted at [franklinwater.com/wwj-sweepstakes-rules].
Any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sponsor, Water Well Journal, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
This Sweepstakes is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
This Sweepstakes is conducted in English. Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Sponsor in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Indiana, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Indiana, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than in the State of Indiana.
BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), AND/OR ANY RIGHTS TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED; AND (4) ENTRANTS’ REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND ENTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the parties each agree to finally settle all disputes only through arbitration; provided, however, the Sponsor shall be entitled to seek injunctive or equitable relief in the state and federal courts in Indiana and any other court with jurisdiction over the parties. In arbitration, there is no judge or jury, and review is limited. The arbitrator’s decision and award are final and binding, with limited exceptions, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. The parties agree that, except as set forth above, any claim, suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes shall be resolved solely by binding arbitration before a sole arbitrator under the streamlined Arbitration Rules Procedures of JAMS Inc. ("JAMS") or any successor to JAMS. In the event JAMS is unwilling or unable to set a hearing date within fourteen (14) days of the filing of a "Demand for Arbitration," then either party can elect to have the arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") or any other mutually agreeable arbitration administration service. If an in-person hearing is required, then it will take place in Chicago, IL, Washington, DC, New York City, NY, Los Angeles, CA, Atlanta, GA, or Dallas, TX (whichever is closest to Entrant's residence); provided, however, if none of these locations are convenient for the hearing, the parties may mutually agree on an alternative location. The federal or state law that applies to these Official Rules will also apply during the arbitration. Disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis and will not be consolidated with any other proceedings that involve any claims or controversy of another party, including any class actions; provided, however, if for any reason any court or arbitrator holds that this restriction is unconscionable or unenforceable, then the agreement to arbitrate doesn’t apply and the dispute must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Indiana. Sponsor agrees to pay the administrative and arbitrator's fees in order to conduct the arbitration (but specifically excluding any travel or other costs of Entrant to attend the arbitration hearing). Either party may, notwithstanding this provision, bring qualifying claims in small claims court.
Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
In the event of any inconsistency between these Official Rules and any advertising, promotional, or marketing materials relating to the Sweepstakes, these Official Rules shall govern.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes where necessary to comply with applicable law or address circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.
